The Frontend, Mobile, and Advanced Tech group at Colgate has a wide variety of responsibilities. We build out standards for our internal applications including in the area of accessibility, mobile applications and app store usage, and more recently proactively seek out new technologies that may influence our business. Our role isn't to own every application, but it is to help those who do produce high quality products for our users, whether internal or external. We are seeking a full stack developer who will be willing to grow into these areas, developing a few areas of specialization as part of your career development. You will work closely with teams throughout Colgate developing technologies and deploying them to support our business, and have chances for exposure to a wide variety of technologies.

What you will do

• 
  Builds and maintains corporate mobile, web applications and services and their CI
• Develop web services to support internal users
• Maintain existing code bases
• Researches and explores newly trending and new technologies
• Employs an understanding of best practices for accessibility
• Responds to error inquiries, troubleshoots, and provides solutions for technical problems.
• Designs and develops automation job flows using deployment applications (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Aligns with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Hard Sciences, or other bachelor's with work experience in field
• At least 2 years (HTML5, CSS, Modern JavaScript Frameworks like React, VueJS, and Angular
• At least 2 years Experience with Javascript and/or Python or other backend language (i.e, Golang)
• At least 1 year Experience with relational database technologies and data modeling
• At least 1 year Experience developing front end web applications
• Familiarity with REST API and web service development and standard processes
• Knowledge of at least one or more server-side programming languages like Javascript, Python, Ruby, .Net etc.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and security concerns.
• Understanding of linting best practices as applied in production code bases
• Ability to write quality unit tests.
• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Salary Range $68,880 - $113,400 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
